YOUR AUDIO. YOUR DEVICE.

Privacy, kept simple.

QuietTake processes recordings in your browser. We do not receive, upload or store the audio you choose.

Audio processing

Your browser reads the selected file into memory and runs the noise removal model locally. Playback and downloads use temporary in-memory URLs. Closing or reloading the page clears this workspace. Downloads you save stay on your own device.

Page requests

The site is hosted by Vercel. The hosting provider receives ordinary requests for pages, the noise removal engine and the public sample recording. These requests may include your IP address, browser information and request timestamps. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of hosting data. Your recording is not part of these requests.

Website statistics

We use standard Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics on our public pages. These statistics can include the page, referrer, approximate location, device and browser information. We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page URL before sending it. Your audio, file name, waveform and processing results are not included. We do not record sessions or send custom audio events.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies, and its request-derived visitor identifier expires after 24 hours. Our analytics component stays off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information for details.

Accounts and payments

This version has no accounts, payment collection or advertising. It does not ask for microphone permission. Microsoft Clarity and session replay are not installed.

Public sample

The optional sample is a synthetic voice recording with added noise. Requesting that public sample sends a normal file request to the host; it does not send any of your own audio.
